| Matching the canvas to the palette One point about my palette before I start putting paint on it. I use the same combination of black and raw sienna oil paint to give my palette and my canvas the same color and mid range light & dark intensity. This will allow a color on my palette to be seen the same as it will appear when I put it on the canvas. |  |
